Uganda is a vital country in Africa with over 30 million residents. Located on the eastern side of Africa, Uganda is bordered by Kenya, Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Rwanda. In addition, a substantial portion of Lake Victoria is located in Uganda.

| Language Since its independence, the official language of Uganda is English. There are over 40 languages spoken in Uganda including Luganda, Buganda, Lusoga, Runyankore and Swahili. |

Climate The weather in Uganda is consistent as it is near the equator. The low temperature averages in the 60’s with the highs in the 80’s. With varying elevations, there can be snow on Mount Elgon and much cooler temperatures in the mountains. |
